Did SmackDown Tag Team Titles Change Hands On February 10? WWE

After intrigue regarding whether or not the match would be able to go on, there was a big title match on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.

In a backstage segment ahead of the match, Jimmy told Paul Heyman that he still hadn’t heard from Jey.

When it came time to make their entrance, Jimmy emerged for the match alone, with the bell ringing and still no Jey.

However as Samantha Irwin was making the ring announcements and asked, “defending the titles alone?” Jimmy stopped her to point to the crowd.

Jey Uso came through the crowd to hug Jimmy and begin the match.

In a hard fought match, there were several near falls which suggested it was actually possible that the Usos would lose the SmackDown tag titles tonight.

However in the end, it was a bit of twin magic that sealed the deal with a blind tag.

With Ricochet hitting a Shooting Star Press on Jimmy (who was not the legal man due to a blind tag by Jey) and attempting a pin, it was broken up in a violent fashion.

With Jey crashing down upon him with a big splash, Jey who captured the pinfall victory over Ricochet on behalf of the team.

The Usos continue their record breaking reign as Undisputed Tag Team Champions with a successful SmackDown Tag Team Championship defense tonight.
