This week’s Friday Night SmackDown saw a tag team match between The Usos and The Revival, a fatal-four way women’s match which was won by Carmella, and the first appearance of Goldberg on WWE TV in 2020.
As a result of the jampacked show, SmackDown brought in an impressive average of 2.547 million viewers. The average was consistent across the board, with the first and second hour bringing in 2.555 million and 2.539 million respectively.
Last week’s Friday Night SmackDown show on FOX brought in 2.497 million viewers, this week saw 50,000 more people tune in. This is likely because of the advertised return of Hall of Famer Goldberg.
SmackDown was by far the most-watched wrestling show of the week. By comparison, Raw, NXT and AEW: Dynamite drew 2.168 million, 770,000 and 928,000 respectively.
