WWE has announced a SmackDown Women’s Championship match for next week’s Christmas Eve episode of SmackDown.
On tonight’s show, Toni Storm scored an upset pinfall over the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a tag team match. WWE has now announced that Storm will get her title match with Flair on next week’s show.
Also announced for next week’s show is the 12 Days of Christmas 12-man gauntlet match featuring Sami Zayn, Ricochet, Mansoor, Drew Gulak, Erik, Ivar, Humberto, Angel, Jinder Mahal, Shanky, Sheamus and Cesaro, with the winner earning an Intercontinental Championship match.
Next week’s episode of SmackDown will be taped following tonight’s show in Chicago.
