It has been teased that “something terrible” could be happening as part of one of the top matches at tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Braun Strowman defends the Universal Championship against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt tonight as their rivalry comes to a head, and it’s a rivalry that has involved Alexa Bliss.
WWE had played up Bliss’ friendship with Braun Strowman since the Mixed Match Challenge, but it seems as though The Fiend has captivated her in a way that she’s now siding with him.
In a promo on SmackDown, Bliss’ tag team partner Nikki Cross had some words to say, and if she’s foreshadowing something, it doesn’t sound good.
Cross said:
“Me and Alexa have been friends for quite a while now, and when we spoke on Tuesday she just seemed a little off. I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is, but she’s just different. I mean she talks like Alexa, she acts like Alexa, but…
“The Alexa I know is warm, and caring, and funny, and that person that I spoke to the other day, that person is not Alexa Bliss, and it scares me. It does, because I just… I just have the feeling that something terrible is about to happen.”
