‘Special Announcement’ Teased For Upcoming WWE Event

A “special announcement” has been teased for this Wednesday’s highly-anticipated WWE NXT from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

With a card already filled with unexpected appearances from the likes of Rob Van Dam, Dawn Marie and Bubba Ray Dudley, it seems as if WWE has another news-worthy moment in store for NXT.

As confirmed via WWE NXT’s official Twitter account, General Manager Ava will have a “special announcement” to make on Wednesday’s show.

No further details were given regarding what the announcement could be, with fans left to theorise until Wednesday’s show airs.

The card for this week’s ECW themed NXT is set to feature four matches, including a ten-women tag team match between Fatal Influence, Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez taking on Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, Zaria & TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace.

Elsewhere, Bubba Ray Dudley competes in his first WWE match in eight years when he teams with NXT Champion Trick Williams to take on Ethan Page & Ridge Holland.

Bubba Ray’s fellow ECW alum are involved in the remaining two matches on NXT’s card, as Dawn Marie serves as a special guest referee for the hardcore match between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker, while Rob Van Dam looks set to be involved in some fashion in Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans’ bout.
