A special celebrity appearance has been confirmed for WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
With the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX clash dominating news headlines this weekend, a top NFL star from another of the league’s most successful teams has made an announcement regarding WWE WrestleMania 41.
Speaking to the media ahead of the big game, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle spoke with Yahoo Sports NFL contributor Jason Fitz and was asked about this year’s WrestleMania at Alliegiant Stadium on April 19-20.
In response, Kittle confirmed he would be in attendance for the event, saying:
“I’ll be there in Las Vegas. I’m there.”
Kittle was then asked whether a career in pro wrestling could be in his future once he hangs up his boots in football, to which he said:
“Triple H has my number.”
Kittle is no stranger to WWE, having been seen in attendance at several events in recent years and making no secret of his fandom for wrestling.
He would also memorably get involved in the action two years ago at WWE WrestleMania 39, clotheslining The Miz.
