There has been a stipulation added to a major championship match set to take place at SummerSlam announced on tonight’s episode (July 8) of WWE SmackDown.
The Street Profits challenged the Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship back at Money In The Bank in an incredible match with a sketchy finish as pointed out directly to the Usos face in an in-ring segment.
The Usos hit Montez Ford with the 1D, but Montez Ford’s shoulder was off the mat as the referee counted the pinfall, which was played into the story of the post-match.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, it was announced that their re-match at SummerSlam would involve a “special guest referee” who shall not yet be named.
The rematch between both teams is now officially set for SummerSlam on July 30.
