A special guest referee has been announced for a WWE star’s upcoming title match in another company.
One month after making her GCW Bloodsport debut in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 week, WWE star Natalya is set to compete in another big crossover match as she challenges Kenzie Page for her NWA Women’s World Championship at the promotion’s Crockett Cup event on May 17.
With just days to go until the event takes place in Philadelphia, NWA have announced that a special guest referee will be allocated to Natalya vs. Kenzie Page – that being former WWE and TNA star Gail Kim.
Kim departed TNA on March 25 after serving as the company’s Head of Talent Relations, with plenty of speculation regarding her future in the weeks that have followed.
Her appearance at NWA’s Crockett Cup event was already confirmed via an announcement last month, however, at the time she was only said to be taking part in an exclusive autograph signing.
In response to the news of Kim’s addition to the NWA Women’s World Title match as special guest referee, Natalya took to Twitter to deliver a scathing warning to Kenzie Page, writing:
I’m coming to NWA to beat the s**t out of Kenzie and anyone else who gets in my way, Billy.
You can put who you like in there with us, result is going to be the same. Your girl is going to get mauled under your banner. -Nattie
