Speculation: Stone Cold Steve Austin To Return To WWE TV Soon

It was revealed that month that Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to star in a reality show on the USA Network starting this summer.

The show will be called “Straight Up Steve Austin”, and the season will run for seven weeks each Monday immediately following Raw. The series is set to commence on August 12th and will feature special guests including Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Dave Meltzer discussed the WWE Hall of Famer’s upcoming show in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

While he was not reporting anything, Meltzer did noted that it would make a lot of sense for Austin to make a return to WWE TV in the next few weeks to promote the show.

This is especially true when considering that the interview show will be broadcast on the USA Network, just like Raw and Smackdown.

This is something that WWE are surely considering. The appearance of Austin would most certainly boost ratings and create some interest in the product.
