With Logan Paul set to appear on the Grayson Waller Effect this week on Smackdown (June 30), a potential ‘spoiler’ on the segment has been revealed by the one of the stars involved.
Ahead of the special London edition of SmackDown’s new number one talk show, Waller took to Twitter to tag Paul in a post suggesting that he plans to befriend the social media megastar.
Posting a GIF from the movie ‘Step Brothers’ alongside the quote saying, “did we just become best friends?”, the ‘Aussie Icon’ clearly sees the two brash influencers hitting it off on Friday.
Paul as yet to respond to Waller’s friendship proposal, but given their character similarities, it’s certainly not out the realm of possibility.
Waller has yet to compete in the ring since his call-up from NXT in this year’s WWE Draft, so far being strictly involved in talk show segments involving stars such as AJ Styles, Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Pretty Deadly.
As for Paul, he will of course be in action in London this Saturday (July 1) competing in the men’s Money in the Bank match alongside LA Knight, Damian Priest, Butch, Santos Escobar, Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Despite some fans not liking Paul being involved, an ex-WWE and current AEW star recently praised the 28-year-old’s inclusion in the match – click here to find out more.
