On last week’s (May 15) show, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn agreed to find a partner to face off against GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
Per WRKD Wrestling, Zayn and Owens’ partner will be a ‘stylish king’.
Following this pointer, many have predicted that the King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura will side with the WWE Tag Team Champions on this week’s episode.
Nakamura has been pushed as a star since his return to action last month, with the only blemish on his record since then coming during a World Heavyweight Championship tournament match.
It is worth noting that there are several other kings who would be available, including 2021 King of the Ring winner Xavier Woods, and the 2019 tournament winner Baron Corbin.
This week will be a big one for Owens and Zayn, who will defend their WWE Tag Team Title against Solo Sikoa and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Night of Champions.
Also at the May 27 pay-per-view, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will battle over the new World Heavyweight Championship.
An update has emerged on previous ‘hesitancy’ surrounding Rollins potentially winning the gold, which you can read more about right here.
