Spoiler On Impact Wrestling AJ Styles Tease

One of the recent Impact Wrestling moments that got fans talking was the tease of an AJ Styles return. During a backstage segment with Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, they said they would be finding a “Phenomenal” opponent for their rivals.

While it is unlikely that anyone actually thought Styles would return to the promotion, it did leave the question of what Impact was planning. Well, now we know. Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting the spoiler for this angle so if you don’t want to know, read no further.

The report states that this angle is going to pay off with Hornswoggle making an appearance doing an AJ Styles parody. Hornswoggle will be dressed up in full AJ Styles gear and will be part of the Good Brothers’ feud with The North.

Hornswoggle (or just Swoggle) has made a few appearances for Impact Wrestling this year. He appeared at both their Bound for Glory and Turning Point pay per views.

AJ Styles, while not leaving WWE to return to Impact, has a long history with the promotion. Considered one of the TNA Originals, he was effectively the face of the company for years before leaving in 2013.
