In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that plans currently have Roman Reigns feuding with Daniel Bryan next over his Universal Championship, presumably following Survivor Series.
This was speculated last week after Jey Uso defeated Daniel Bryan to earn a spot on the SmackDown Survivor Series team and turned heel after the match. However, it now being officially reported.
[Reigns] scheduled to work with Daniel Bryan, out of necessity it seems, because Bryan wasn’t positioned like a main event title contender at all when he returned.
In just over two weeks at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns is set to face WWE Champion Randy Orton in a Champion vs. Champion match. As of the time of writing, Daniel Bryan does not have a match on the card.
The feud between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will likely lead to a match at TLC in December and could even spill into the Royal Rumble in January of next year. At this time, there is no word on the specific plans WWE has for the feud.
