Spoiler On Roman Reigns SummerSlam Plans

Roman Reigns has been WWE’s most protected star since his return last year. Now, there is a spoiler for WWE’s plans for him and The Usos as we approach SummerSlam.

Wrestling News has reported that the plan is currently to build Reigns up to the level of John Cena and The Rock. Additionally, The Usos will both be part of Reigns’ unit and will also be booked strong.

A WWE source reportedly told them:

“Obviously, the plan is to build Roman up so fans see him as being on the level of Cena and Rock but this is also about making Jimmy and Jey look strong and we will get there by SummerSlam. This will be a tight-knit unit in a few months.”

Recent reports have said that Roman Reigns will be defending the Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell against Rey Mysterio.

Reigns’ storyline since his return has seen him at odds with his cousins The Usos while also trying to get both of them on his side. He has had more luck with Jey Uso than Jimmy Uso but there is still time for that to change.

The report also notes that the Usos are set to win the SmackDown Tag Team Title from the Mysterios by SummerSlam.
