WWE executed one of it’s best angles in many years at the climax of the Royal Rumble premium live event last weekend.

Following Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship defence against Kevin Owens in the show’s main event, Sami Zayn finally betrayed the Bloodline, laying into the Tribal Chief with a steel chair.

The Bloodline then left both Zayn and Owens laying to close out the night.

Following the angle, fans have wondered what is next for the Bloodline story, with Roman Reigns being announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on potential plans for Sami Zayn on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

Per the report, Zayn, as well as all members of the Bloodline, are set to be at tonight’s show.

As of Thursday night, the plan was for Sami to appear wearing a hoodie to hide his identity from The Bloodline.

A match between Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns is reportedly all but confirmed for the Elimination Chamber event in Montreal on February 18.
