A spoiler on Rey Fenix’s planned opponent for his WWE debut match on tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Chicago.
Former AEW International Champion Rey Fenix officially signed with WWE last month, with vignettes airing on SmackDown in recent weeks teasing his arrival to the blue brand.
Last week’s vignette announced that Fenix would be making his debut on tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Chicago, which has now been officially announced.
It has since been reported that Fenix will likely be set to feud with Andrade upon his arrival to SmackDown, but his first opponent in the company has now been revealed.
Per WrestleVotes, Fenix’s debut opponent on SmackDown is set to be current NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer.
Frazer’s tag team partner Axiom also recently competed on SmackDown, with him facing World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in Barcelona.
Also set for tonight’s show are two number one contenders matches, with Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu set for a Last Man Standing match to determine the next challenger for the United States Championship, while DIY will face the Motor City Machine Guns in a WWE Tag Team Championship number one contenders match.
