Set for this week’s AEW Rampage, an important announcement about the future of the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship.
At tonight’s taping for AEW Rampage (March 8, set to air Friday March 10) there was a major announcement about ROH.
There was a segment featuring Mark Briscoe where the future of the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship was announced after his tag team partner, brother Jay Briscoe tragically passed away.
In the segment it was announced that there would be a ‘Reach for the Sky’ ladder match to determine the next champs.
The match is set to occur at Ring of Honor’s upcoming pay-per-view, Supercard of Honor on Friday, March 31st, 2023.
Also, the first team was announced for the match: the Lucha Brothers.
