If you’ve clicked on this article you obviously don’t mind reading spoilers which is great because there are plenty to reveal. During recent NXT tapings, several top matches were announced for Takeover: Chicago II.
First up, Aleister Black will be defending the NXT Championship against Lars Sullivan. Whilst this isn’t a dream match by any means, Sullivan has shown he can hang with the best in the ring as he put in a great performance during the critically acclaimed ladder match in New Orleans.
Next is the continuation of the hottest feud in all of the WWE right now with Johnny Gargano yet again facing Tommaso Ciampa, this time in a Street Fight. This awesome rivalry doesn’t look like it’s going to run out of momentum any time soon and don’t be surprised if these two wrestling machines produce another five-star classic.
Another big title match has also been confirmed as Shayna Baszler will be defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross. The aggressive style of both women should make this a match filled with hard-hitting action. However, Baszler seems like she is at the beginning of a dominating title run so expect her to pick up the win.
The final match that has been revealed is Ricochet going up against Velveteen Dream. This is definitely a match of the year contender with both superstars already proving to be two of the most talented athletes on the roster. It’s a shame that one man has to lose this match but whoever picks up the win, it’s clear that both men will shine in Chicago.
