Major WWE Stable Break Up Tease On SmackDown You May Have Missed WWE

Over the past few weeks, there has been major hints of tension within Damage CTRL, specifically with IYO SKY and the other members of the group.

Bayley has recently been teaming with Dakota Kai in tag team action as IYO has been branching into singles action, with Bayley and Dakota teaming up to challenge Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

That match ended up being cursed, as both Liv and Dakota came out of the match with injuries.

On last night’s (May 19) episode of SmackDown, Bayley and IYO appeared in a backstage segment with Raquel, where they challenged her to find a replacement partner to face them next week.

Interestingly, amid the tensions between Bayley and IYO, Bayley’s shirt of choice for the segment featured three pictures of Dakota, rather than all members of the group.

You can see the picture below.

WWE announced that Liv Morgan’s injury had forced her to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Championship, with a new champion to be crowned on Raw in two weeks time.

The match will consist of Bayley and IYO, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville and Raquel Rodriguez teaming with a replacement partner.

Raquel revealed her replacement partner on next week’s episode of SmackDown, which was taped following last night’s show. You can see who it was here.
