International Star’s Expected Return Date Revealed Ahead Of Dream Match With AEW Star

Former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo has provided an update ahead of his scheduled dream match with AEW’s Ricochet.

As previously mentioned, El Hijo del Vikingo is scheduled to team with Soma Watanabe against CIMA and AEW star Ricochet at GLEAT’s upcoming show on October 6.

However, Vikingo has been out of action for the past several months and was announced that he was not cleared as of yet.

In the latest F4WOnline Daily Update, Dave Meltzer reported that El Hijo del Vikingo is targeting a return to in-ring action on September 27 after knee surgery.

Vikingo last wrestled for DREAMWAVE in February 2024.

Besides working for AAA, Vikingo has also appeared regularly for All Elite Wrestling and TNA Wrestling over the past few years.

It remains to be seen when Vikingo will officially make his in-ring return at the time of this writing.
