WWE/AAA
A star set for the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide show tomorrow night appears to have been removed, with a replacement confirmed.
The second Worlds Collide show of the WWE & AAA partnership takes place in Las Vegas tomorrow night, September 12, right after SmackDown.
According to WWE’s website, a change has been made to the card.
The ‘Lucha Showcase’ eight man tag team match is now listed as:
Nino Hamburguesa, Octagon Jr, Laredo Kid & Mascarita Sagrada vs. Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro
Originally, La Parka was on the first team, but he has been replaced with Laredo Kid.
WWE actually botched the initial announcement of La Parka’s planned involvement as the original match graphic featured an image of the old version of La Parka – LA Park – instead of the current La Parka.
Worlds Collide tomorrow night will be headlined by El Hijo Del Vikingo defending the AAA Mega Championship against WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.
Other WWE stars in action include the LWO, Judgment Day, New Day, Natalya and NXT North American Champion Ethan Page.
With the show taking place straight after SmackDown, it means Corey Graves either won’t be calling SmackDown, or won’t be calling Worlds Collide.
Michael Cole announced last week that he and Graves would be the SmackDown team for the next couple of months, but Graves has been the lead announcer of the WWE & AAA partnership thus far, calling both the first Worlds Collide and TripleMania 33.
