Mercedes Mone made her first defence of her IWGP Women’s Championship at NJPW Sakura Genesis last weekend, when she defeated AZM and Hazuki in an incredible three-way.
After the match, STARDOM ace Mayu Iwatani confronted Mercedes ahead of their IWGP Women’s Championship bout at the upcoming STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom event on April 23.
Mercedes and Mayu went face to face at STARDOM’s latest press conference, which quickly turned ugly.
Mercedes mocked Iwatani by performing her ‘new hit single’ titled ‘Mayu Sucks’, before eventually laying her out with her Mone Maker finisher.
Mercedes then told Mayu that she would no longer be an icon in Japan, as it’s now her country.
The match against Iwatani is currently set to be the last match on Mercedes’ contract with BushiRoad.
