Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns and The Usos forced King Corbin to eat dog food in the main event of the show. Many fans hoped that this would spell the end of the Reigns and Corbin feud that has lasted for about four-five months.
However, WWE confirmed on this week’s SmackDown that Corbin and Reigns will go one-on-one again at WWE Super ShowDown later on this month.
This is not the only match that has been booked for the show. Roman Reigns’ rumoured WrestleMania 36 opponent The Fiend Bray Wyatt will have to defend his Universal Championship against Goldberg at Super ShowDown.
The match was booked after the WWE Hall of Famer returned to TV for the first time this year to challenge The Fiend to a match in Saudi Arabia. His challenge was accepted.
As if that wasn’t enough, Carmella defeated Naomi, Alexa Bliss and Dana Brooke in a four-way match that main evented SmackDown. As a result, she will challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley for her title at Super ShowDown.
Should Becky Lynch not defend her Raw Women’s Championship on the show, Carmella and Bayley will make history as the first women to compete in a championship match in Saudi Arabia.
