Two Steel Cage Matches Announced For WWE Madison Square Garden Return

Two WWE Steel Cage matches have been advertised for the company’s return to Madison Square Garden on December 26.

Big E will defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins inside the cage. This will be less than a week before Owens and Rollins are set to challenge for the WWE Title at Day 1 in January.

It was also announced that Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will go one-on-one inside the structure for the Raw Women’s Championship. Lynch is set to defend her gold against Liv Morgan next week on Raw.

WWE will resume the tradition of holding a post-Christmas show at MSG, after not holding a Holiday Tour event in The Garden last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RK-Bro, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Queen Zelina, AJ Styles, Omos, Damian Priest, Rey Mysterio, The Street Profits, The Miz and Rhea Ripley have also been advertised for the event.
