Stephanie McMahon Discusses Realising She ‘Can’t Get Away’ From WWE WWE

Stephanie McMahon has discussed realising that she ‘can’t get away’ from WWE after stepping away from the company in 2023.

Stephanie stepped away from her role in the company in January 2023 following the return of Vince McMahon ahead of the sale to Endeavor later in the year.

Since her departure, Stephanie has still made cameo appearances on WWE television, but has not made an official return to the company as of now.

Speaking on her appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Stephanie discussed her life growing up in the company, and realising that she ‘couldn’t stay away’ from the company.

She said:

“So one of the things that I learned when I stepped away is that I will never get away from WWE, ever. It is a part of who I am, it is what I love.

“I really did grow up in this business, it was not unusual to have shoots done at our house. I was in the first-ever Saturday Night’s Main Event. I went trick or treating at Roddy Piper’s house, which was actually our house, and he was breaking our candy, putting bowling balls in our bag, he was a heel at the time. I did modelling for the catalogue, and I didn’t get paid, we didn’t have child models at the time. All of the employees kids, we were just dressed up. I’ve lived this amazing life with so many opportunities to meet incredible people, and be a part of something so special that connects people all over the world. I feel it everywhere I go, in every arena that I go to, is something that is just so special.”

Stephanie is set to appear in her own new WWE series titled ‘Stephanie’s Places’, set to air on ESPN+ in March.
