Stephanie Vaquer’s first championship defence after becoming the NXT Women’s North American Champion has been announced.
Stephanie Vaquer managed to capture her first championship since joining WWE at Saturday night’s WWE Vengeance Day show, when she defeated Fallon Henley to become the Women’s North American Champion.
It wouldn’t take long after her capturing the championship for her first challenger to be determined, as a three-way match was announced for tonight’s NXT show, pitting Karmen Petrovic, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan against each other.
During the match, it was Karmen Petrovic who managed to come out on top with help from Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, earning her the right to challenge Vaquer for the championship.
It was announced following Petrovic’s victory that she will face Vaquer for the title on next week’s episode of WWE NXT in Cincinatti, Ohio.
Stephanie will also be in action on tonight’s NXT show, with her, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and Jordynne Grace set to team up against Fatal Influence.
