Actor and occasional wrestler, Stephen Amell, has named who would like to face in AEW and WWE if he were to return to the squared circle.

Stephen Amell is perhaps best known for playing  ‘Arrow’ between 2012-2020 on the CW Network.

Amell also stars in the wrestling focused series ‘Heels’ on Starz.

The actor and wrestling fan first stepped inside the ropes during the May 25, 2015 edition of WWE Raw where he confronted Cody Rhodes, who was then performing as Stardust.

He made his wrestling debut months later at SummerSlam in August 2015, where he tagged with Neville (AEW’s Pac) to defeat Stardust and King Barrett.

Amell’s friendship with Rhodes continued, making appearances with Rhodes at Ring of Honor and AEW.

Stephen Amell’s most recent match was during AEW All In 2018, where he lost to Christopher Daniels in his singles debut.

In a recent interview with Nbd al emarat news, Amell named who he would be interested in wrestling should he make an in-ring return.

Cody Rhodes was the first name on his lips.

When asked about the prospect of facing AJ Styles, the ‘Arrow’ star said:

“That would work too.

“Yeah, AJ Styles, that could be good.”

When it comes to the AEW roster, Amell admitted, “I like Darby Allin a lot,” suggesting he’s another name on the list.

Darby Allin and Sting defeated Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett during AEW Full Gear on November 19.
