WWE is continuing to stuff every single thing possible into the FOX debut of SmackDown, and now Steve Austin has been confirmed for the show.
Austin appeared a few weeks ago on Raw and got a great reception as usual, so it was only a matter of time before WWE got its chequebook out again to get the Texas Rattlesnake on SmackDown.
Also on the show:
- Appearances by several WWE Hall of Famers, including Austin, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Booker T, Lita, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Bill Goldberg, Trish Stratus, Mark Henry, and Jerry Lawler, among other stars
- Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston
- RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks
- Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match
Past & present @WWE Superstars, including @steveaustinBSR, @HulkHogan, @BeckyLynchWWE, and more, will descend upon the @STAPLESCenter to celebrate the 20th anniversary of SmackDown.
