Steve Austin WWE WrestleMania 41 Status Update

Steve Austin WWE WrestleMania 41 Status Update WWE

Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed his status for WWE WrestleMania 41 taking place on April 19 & 20, 2025, in Las Vegas.

Having last competed at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, Austin’s name has been a regular feature of fan discussion at major WWE PLEs.

With just over a month to the 2025 WrestleMania, Austin has all but ruled himself out of being at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

Speaking to The Schmo, Steve Austin revealed that his focus isn’t on WrestleMania but on the Mint 400 racing event.

Stating that he hadn’t been in contact with anybody about a possible WrestleMania appearance, Austin said:

“I haven’t been in contact with anybody, so I guess anything can happen, but I’m here to run the Mint 400 and that’s what my sights are set on. I’m not looking to Mania. I’m looking to the Mint 400.

“I’ve got a brand new left knee, it’s my first race back, and I’m gonna go out there and kick ass to see if I can do it as well as I can.”

As previously reported, Steve Austin is the grand marshal for the Mint 400 and will also be racing in the event itself.

The off-road race event takes place between March 5 and March 9, 2025, giving plenty of time before WrestleMania rolls round.

As for “anything can happen”, John Cena recently turned heel for the first time in his career thanks to the influence of The Rock.

The moment took place at the March 1, 2025, WWE Elimination Chamber with Guinness World Records going on to recognise Cena has the “longest-serving face in WWE“.
