Sting made his return to AEW TV on Friday’s (June 17) edition of Rampage.
In the main event of the show, Darby Allin defeated Bobby Fish in singles action. Allin was attacked by Fish after the bell, and Kyle O’Reilly then made his way to the ring with a steel chair.
Before O’Reilly could reach the ringside area, the lights went down. When they came back up, The Icon was in front of the Undisputed Elite member.
After disposing of O’Reilly, Sting gave the chair to Allin, who put the weapon around Fish’s ankle and hit a Coffin Drop onto the steel.
Sting was notably pulled from Double or Nothing weekend due to injury after an attack at the hands of the Undisputed Elite the week prior.
Also on Friday’s show, a huge Winner Takes All title match was made official for Forbidden Door. It was also revealed that Hiroshi Tanahashi will make his AEW in-ring debut on Dynamite ahead of the June 26 pay-per-view.
