Sting Calls AEW Dynamite Match Best Wrestling He’s Ever Seen

Recently, wrestling legend Sting revealed his strong feelings surrounding a match from the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

On Wednesday night, Jungle Boy battled Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. Allin retained, pinning the challenger after a back-and-forth match.

Following the show, Sting took to the ring to react to the title match. Calling the bout the best wrestling he’s ever seen, The Icon asked for the crowd to applaud the competitors involved.

Here is the full quote:

“Does it get any better than what you just saw? This is the best wrestling I have ever seen, and I mean that. I have seen a lot of years of wrestling. Give it up for Jungle Boy. Give it up for Darby. Give it up for AEW. It’s Showtime with AEW!”

AEW posted an exclusive video of this moment to Twitter:

This is extremely high praise from the wrestling veteran. Competing since the 1980s, Sting has seen more than his fair share of instant classics play out in front of his eyes.

Darby Allin has been TNT Champion since defeating Cody Rhodes at Full Gear 2020. He has defended his title against the likes of Matt Hardy, Brian Cage and Scorpio Sky.

This weekend, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega faces IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann in a title vs title match at IMPACT Rebellion. A former NXT star has been announced for Sunday night’s pay-per-view.
