Sting is back and in his return promo on AEW Dynamite, he made sure to shout out plenty of wrestling’s biggest names.
After joining the in-ring fracas between MJF and Darby Allin, Sting weighed in about MJF’s accusations that the other ‘Pillars’ benefited from ‘Daddy Day Care’.
Having previously referenced Jungle Boy’s history with Christian Cage, Sammy Guevara’s with Chris Jericho and Darby Allin’s with Sting, Sting made sure to remind MJF he wasn’t entirely alone albeit via feigned Freudian Slip.
Sting instead mentioning, “Cody Day Care” and then being apologetic for having accidentally said Cody’s name (or so he said to MJF) but stood behind the declaration.
He also took time to mention people that had been formative to the different stages of his career including the Nature Boy Ric Flair and nWo members Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
Elsewhere in AEW, before tonight’s show hit the air, word broke that there was several big names backstage at tonight’s Dynamite.
This included one that hasn’t been seen in the company for months; click here to find out who was spotted.
