A stipulation has been added to a match already confirmed for this Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream 2025 pay-per-view.
Taking place at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO on Saturday, October 18, AEW WrestleDream is currently set to feature eight matches units main card at the time of writing, including four championship contests.
Among the four non-title bouts on the card is what seems potentially set to be the culmination of the rivalry between The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand.
With one win a piece in trios competition, it was confirmed during the October 11 episode of AEW Collision that Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP would take on Ricochet, Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun once again at WrestleDream, however, at the time of the announcement the match was confirmed to be contested under standard trios match rules.
That has now changed however, as during the main event of the AEW Collision portion of AEW’s special three hour Dynamite and Collision double-header, Excalibur announced that The Demand vs. Hurt Syndicate was now officially a Tornado Trios Match, with no tagging necessary for any of the men involved.
Three matches were also announced for the Saturday Tailgate Brawl pre-show event before AEW WrestleDream: FTR vs. JetSpeed, The Conglomeration (Tomohiro Ishii, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia) and HOOK & Eddie Kingston vs. yet to be announced opponents.
During AEW Dynamite reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Moné confirmed that she will be appearing at WrestleDream, however, there was no announcement regarding her competing at the show.
We will provide further updates if any more matches get announced for AEW WrestleDream in the remaining days leading up to the event.
