Big Stipulation Added To October 11 SmackDown Match WWE

WWE has announced a big stipulation to a match announced for tonight’s (November 11) WWE SmackDown show.

On last week’s show, WWE announced that the SmackDown World Cup would start on tonight’s show.

The tournament will see 8 of SmackDown’s top stars face off in an elimination format tournament.

The winner of the SmackDown World Cup will earn an Intercontinental Championship match against Gunther in the future.

On last week’s show, WWE also announced that Shinsuke Nakamura would collide with Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar on the show.

WWE has now announced that the match between Escobar and Nakamura will serve as a first round match in the tournament.

Per WWE.com:

Legado del Fantasma’s empire is surely growing, but there’s one obstacle in the way: The King of Strong Style.

The SmackDown World Cup on FOX will begin when these two rivals collide in the first round.

Two weeks ago, Shinsuke Nakamura backed up Hit Row in their Six-Man Tag Team Match against Legado del Fantasma. Nakamura proved to be an X-factor, getting the win for his team.

Can Escobar grow his empire by winning his first-round match in the SmackDown World Cup, or will Nakamura prove to be too much of a challenge? Find out this Friday at 8/7C on FOX!

Also set for tonight is an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between the Usos and the New Day.

As well as that match, a six-pack challenge to crown the next challenger for SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will be crowned.

The match will feature Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans and Xia Li.
