With WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles rapidly approaching, could we see another appearance by Stone Cold Steve Austin in WWE?
After his amazing appearance by Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38 sent shockwaves through wrestling, could the Texas Rattlesnake be poised to do it again.
Well, WWE certainly would like him back!
So much so that according to a new report from Fightful Select, there continue to be internal pitches for his involvement in the
The scoopsters at Fightful were told that multiple pitches for Stone Cold have been made since last year since WWE sources have indicated that he may be open to the possibility of a future match.
Under a variety of conditions of course such as “the right situation” and “the right money” however neither of those have been shored up.
Some sources note that there was a pitched bout against Brock Lesnar however the “money associated was a non-starter.”
Later, Austin was reportedly offered a “significantly higher” amount to another match, possibly against Roman Reigns however that seems to have also been a no go.
With rumored pitches such as versus LA Knight confirmed by the report, it is still notable that while Austin is in excellent shape, no one close to either side is able to verify a return for this year’s show.
However it won’t be the last of Stone Cold we see as he is scheduled to do some WWE promotional work for WWE 2K soon as of course will be starring in his own A&E show soon as well.
