Huge Name Ruled Out Of WWE Raw 30 Appearance WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has revealed that a huge name will not be at the Raw 30th Anniversary show.

On January 23, a number of WWE legends will be in the building for a special edition of Monday Night Raw, celebrating 30 years of the Red Brand.

WWE has announced a number of names for the event, and several more have revealed that they have also been invited.

On his To Be A Man podcast, Ric Flair revealed that Stone Cold Steve Austin won’t be in Philadelphia on January 23.

Believing there won’t be many surprise appearances, Flair said:

“(Are there any surprises you expect to see there?) Not that I know of. I talked to ‘Taker. I know Steve (Austin) can’t come.”

Interestingly, Flair noted that Hulk Hogan is slated to be at the taping. WWE hasn’t announced the Hulkster for the show at the time of writing.

It has been speculated that Austin will return to the ring once more at WrestleMania 39, following a previous report that the Texas Rattlesnake would ‘definitely listen to any proposal‘ for this year’s show of shows.

Austin has fuelled speculation with his recent workout videos, showing off his impressive physique.

Notable names who have been announced for the 30th Anniversary special include Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Kurt Angle and the Bella Twins.

Here’s the announced card for the event:

– Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley – US Championship

– The Usos (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest – Raw Tag Team Championship

– Becky Lynch vs. Bayley – Steel cage match

– Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony
