One member of an established WWE tag team has shared a potential tease for a change in character amid recent teases of a breakup.
Since June 2017, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have been known to WWE fans as The Street Profits, debuting in NXT before being called up to the main roster two years later.
Rumors that the pair were going to split have emerged occasionally, however, during the pair’s feud with the Wyatt Sicks in the Summer it seemed as if WWE may finally pull the trigger.
While this has yet to happen, Ford has now shared a tease that may suggest he’s seeking to carve his own path in WWE via a cryptic post on his own Twitter account.
The tweet features a short video of Ford, dressed in a suit, walking into a room, taking a seat on a rather luxurious chair before sipping on a beverage.
The video concludes with Ford staring into the camera with a seemingly serious look upon his face before it cuts to black.
Ford doesn’t speak during the 15 second video and there’s no comment attached to the original Tweet.
This could indicate a change of direction for Ford, but there’s no confirmation of this at this time.
WrestleTalk will provide further details of plans for The Street Profits should they emerge.
