WWE have today announced that Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega will team at SummerSlam to face Rusev and Lana in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Before we get too excited, however, this match will occur on the two hour Kick-off show.

This will be the second Kick-off appearance for Almas in a row after he best Sin Cara in the same spot at Extreme Rules. For Rusev, this is a massive relegation following his enjoyable WWE Championship Match against AJ Styles at said event.
The foursome have been warring on Smackdown Live over the past few weeks and Rusev has been making very short work of his SummerSlam foe on live events. Their affrays have lasted mere seconds with Almas being booked to submit to the Accolade. The way to build a star, it is not.
SummerSlam Kick-off will be live on the WWE Network at 5pm (EST) and 10pm (GMT) on August 19.
WrestleTalk would like to hear your views on their clash, if you believe both men deserve more, and which you’d pick for a mammoth main event run down the line. You can contact us on Twitter and Discord where all your favorite WrestleTalk writers await.
