WWE have announced that Super Show-Down on October 6 will air live on the WWE Network at 5am EST, 2am PT, and 10am GMT. This means the event will begin at 7pm in Melbourne, Australia.
There is no word yet whether there will be the customary Kickoff Show and it is unknown how long the event will last. However, given its hype, its location, and the special treatment WWE have given it over the last several months, it is expected to exceed four hours.
The current card is as follows:
- AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe – WWE Championship Match
- The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan – Number One Contenders Match
- Cedric Alexander vs. Buddy Murphy – WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
- The Undertaker vs. Triple H
- John Cena and Bobby Lashley vs. Elias and Kevin Owens
- The Shield vs. Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, and Braun Strowman
- Ronda Rousey, Nikki Bella, and Brie Bella vs. the Riott Squad
- Iiconics vs. Asuke and Naomi
- New Day vs. The Bar
Unlike the Greatest Royal Rumble, WWE Super Show-Down will have a bearing on the television product that follows. The Miz or Daniel Bryan will be positioned as the next challenger to the WWE Championship, we’ll get more in the saga of Kevin Owens’ position in the company, and WWE would be wise to crown a new Cruiserweight Champion in hometown hero Buddy Murphy.
The WWE Universal Championship will not be defended on the card, however, with both Roman Reigns and challenger Braun Strowman set for 6-Man Tag Team action.
WWE Super Show-Down will emanate from the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, on October 6.
