Super X-Cup Tournament Returns To Impact Wrestling

The Super X-Cup Tournament will be returning to Impact Wrestling at their Genesis show on January 9, 2021.

Impact Wrestling broke the news on social media, confirming that their top X-Division wrestlers will compete for the trophy.

Impact  tweeted:

“BREAKING: The Super X-Cup Tournament returns on January 9th at #Genesis – stars of the X-Division battle to win the prestigious trophy! Stay tuned for more details and news about participants!”

The Super X-Cup Tournament has taken place three times in Impact Wrestling history, most recently in 2017, with Dezmond Xavier lifting the trophy. The tournament has also been won by Samoa Joe in 2005, and Chris Sabin in 2003.

There are currently no competitors announced for the fourth incarnation of the Super X-Cup Tournament.

Also on the Genesis card, Moose will face Willie Mack in an “I Quit” match.
