The United States Supreme Court of Connecticut has declined to hear arguments in an attempt to resurrect the dismissed concussion lawsuits against WWE.
This would have been a last-ditch attempt from lawyer Konstantine Kyros to get his arguments across as to why the cases should be re-opened.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issued a mandate this past October dismissing the lawsuits.
The full mandate from October can be read at this link.
Now that the court has declined to hear anymore arguments, the case is 100% closed other than determining how much financial restitution Kyros will have to pay WWE.
In a statement to ESPN, WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt said:
“We’re glad it’s finally over. We were completely vindicated.”
