AEW Revolution is the next pay per view event for All Elite Wrestling. A number of AEW’s pay per views have featured debuts of new stars in the past. Brian Cage debuted at Double or Nothing 2020, Matt Sydal debuted at All Out 2020, the list goes on.
Now, it seems this trend may continue with Revolution. During Tony Khan’s interview with Bleacher Report, he mentioned that fans may have to wait until the pay per view to find out who the final entrant in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match will be. Here is the quote:
“So I’m having a qualifying match this week, I’m planning another one the next week, and then there’s another spot. I haven’t decided what to do with it yet. I have an idea and I think I know who might be pretty good for it. So people might have to wait until Revolution to find out who the last person in the Ladder match is but there’s definitely going to be some exciting qualifying matches the next couple weeks.”
The winner of the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match will receive a future title shot at Darby Allin’s TNT Championship. Currently, Cody Rhodes, Scorpio Sky and Penta El Zero M have been announced for the match.
Rey Fenix and Lance Archer will have a qualifying match tomorrow on AEW Dynamite for the chance to advance to Revolution.
