Surprise Debut & Several Title Changes At IMPACT Turning Point

Last night, IMPACT Wrestling put on a rather newsworthy Turning Point special event, just three weeks removed from their Bound For Glory show last month on pay-per-view.

The show, as previously mentioned, was rather newsworthy, with several title changes, shocking announcements and even a surprise debut that not many people would have seen comng and predicted before the show.

On last night’s show, former IMPACT World Champion Eric Young introduced his new associate, Joe Doering. For those that don’t know, Doering spent some time in both TNA and FCW (WWE’s former developmental brand). The pair attacked The Deaners.

The show also saw Deonna Purrazzo defeat Su Yung to recapture the IMPACT Knockout’s Championship, and The Good Brothers best The North to win the IMPACT Tag Team Championships for the first time in their careers.

Elsewhere on the show, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers defeated Daivari and Swoggle respectively, while the team of Chris Sabin and James Storm defeated XXXL. We also saw Rich Swann retain his World Championship against Sami Callihan.

Below are the full results for the show:

  • Eddie Edwards def. Daivari
  • Rosemary & Taya Valkryie def. Jordynne Grace & Tenille Dashwood
  • Brian Myers def. Swoggle
  • Chris Sabin & James Storm def. XXXL
