Surprise ‘Merger’ On AEW Rampage

Surprise ‘Merger’ On AEW Rampage AEW

A shocking ‘merger’ has occurred on AEW Rampage after being teased earlier in the show. Find out which groups have come together.

Announcing in a compelling vignette that Mogul Affiliates had acquired another entity and had a planned merger (with Mogul Affiliates taking 51% of course) it would remain a mystery just who the other party would be in the big deal.

However an answer came shortly thereafter on AEW Rampage after a big match between two AEW stars in Darby Allin and Lee Moriarty.

After a match between Darby Allin captured the win over Lee Moriarty, Swerve Strickland appeared on the ramp.

Leading to moment of speculation and confusion for fans, Swerve outstretched his hand to Allin after commentary had referenced their shared past in Washington State however it was short lived peace.

Instead of shaking hands, Allin was met with an attack from Brian Cage who ran out to send him on a wild ride with a huge move on the ramp.

In the end, it was revealed that the aforementioned merger referred to Mogul Affiliates and The Embassy joining forces as Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage and Prince Nana ended the segment standing tall over Darby Allin.

Later in the show it was announced that on this week’s April 12 edition of AEW Dynamite will host a match between Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland.
