Surprising WWE Star Getting High Praise Backstage

It’s being reported that a surprising name in WWE is receiving significant praise backstage including from Vince McMahon himself.

Aalyah Mysterio, daughter of Rey, has been used in recent months as part of the ongoing storyline with Rey, Dominik, Seth Rollins and Murphy.

WrestlingNews.co is reporting that McMahon and people backstage are impressed with Aalyah and a source said her improvement is being recognised. The source stated:

“Think about this. She hasn’t trained at the PC and she has no prior acting experience. We knew Dominik had the potential to be great but I think Vince got caught by surprise because he was not expecting to see potential out of both of Rey’s kids.”

The report noted that Aalyah wasn’t under a full-time contract with WWE as of the last word, but she’s likely to be offered one and the belief backstage is that she’ll sign it.

This follows a report from the same site a month ago, with a source having stated:

“Don’t be surprised if Vince offers her a full-time contract. He sees star potential in her. You will see her in multiple segments on some shows going forward.

“She’s great to work with. She’s eager to learn and if she wants to pursue a career here or anywhere in the entertainment world then I think she will be successful.”
