Some breaking news coming out of Crown Jewel. WWE has just aired an advertisement for Survivor Series 2019, and for the first time ever, NXT will be involved.
The show to this point has only ever featured Raw and SmackDown stars, but it seems the “NXT is a third brand” thing WWE has been pushing is coming true.
Triple H has pushed the idea that NXT will no longer be seen as a developmental brand, and this seems to be the culmination of that.
Many will be fearing already that it’s just a way for Vince to squash NXT by having the main rosters guys and girls beat them, but let’s stay optimistic for now.
NXT TakeOver: Wargames is the night before Survivor Series, so it will be interesting to see how tired the NXT stars are from presumably having amazing matches less than 24 hours before.
