Swerve Strickland AEW Dynamite Decoy Identity Revealed

Swerve Strickland AEW Dynamite Decoy Identity Revealed AEW

The identity of Swerve Strickland’s decoy on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite has now been revealed.

On last night’s AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland took a shot at the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley shortly after he, MVP and Shelton Benjamin arrived at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Knocking Lashley to ground, Strickland would flee the scene and lead a chase from Benjamin and MVP backstage prior to Lashley’s in-ring AEW debut later that night.

During their pursuit of Strickland, MVP and Benjamin would spot someone wearing the same fur coat that Strickland wore when he attacked Lashley.

However, upon attacking this person Benjamin and MVP quick realised it was not Strickland after all.

Now, following Dynamite the identity of Strickland’s decoy has revealed themselves via social media.

Posting on Twitter, independent wrestler Shaun Smith revealed it was he who was attacked by Benjamin and MVP.

Accompanied by a clip of the backstage altercation, Smith wrote:

Hey it’s me

Smith is someone AEW fans may have already found familiar, as he competed on the November 2 edition of AEW Collision – teaming with Joe Keys to take on The Don Callis Family’s Brian Cage & Lance Archer.

Keys was one of two men who faced off with Lashley in his AEW debut on last night’s show, as the All-Mighty got off to a winning start in his AEW career.

Lashley makes his pay-per-view debut for AEW at Full Gear this Saturday (November 23), for the event’s full match card click here.
