Swerve Strickland has made his All Elite Wrestling debut in a match on tonight’s (March 11) AEW Rampage against Tony Nese.
Strickland and Nese both had opportunities to show off their athleticism in the Rampage main event with Swerve ultimately picking up the victory via pinfall.
Swerve Strickland was signed by All Elite Wrestling announced on AEW Revolution on pay-per-view in a contract signing segment after many rumors had already marked Swerve as AEW bound.
Strickland, formerly known as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott during his time in WWE’s NXT was a former NXT North American Champion before his faction Hit Row (alongside Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis and B-Fab) made their SmackDown main roster debut. A short time later, all of the members of Hit Row had found themselves released from WWE.
