After returning to WWE last week following his 30-day Wellness Policy violation suspension, WWE has confirmed that Robert Roode will take on Roman Reigns in a tables match this week on SmackDown.
The former NXT Champion returned to WWE last Friday and helped Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin in burying Roman Reigns under the announce table.
WWE has also confirmed that Lacey Evans will go one-on-one with Sasha Banks on this week’s show. The match as supposed to take place last week, but Sasha Banks decided against turning up.
On Friday night we will also be treated to the in-ring return of John Morrison. The former Intercontinental Champion will take on Big E in his first WWE match in over eight years.
The tables match is not the only special stipulation bout that WWE has booked this week. It was confirmed during this week’s Raw that Andrade will defend his United States Championship against Rey Mysterio in a ladder match on next week’s show.
