Tag Team Championship Match And More Announced For The Next AEW: Dynamite

Tonight on AEW, FTR cut a promo where they have developed a new tag team championship match series called the 20 minute brush with greatness. They are adjusting the normal time limit to 20 minutes and if the other team doesn’t get the pin during the time limit, then then the match counts as a win for FTR.

They announced their first competitors next week will be SCU. Sky and Kaz will be challenging for the AEW Tag Team Titles.

After the announcement, they also talked some trash about Best Friend. The Best Friends came down and asked for a match tonight, but FTR ultimately refused.

Also announced for next week was a match between Chris Jericho and Isaiah Kassidy from Private Party. Kassidy challenged Jericho after Private Party almost beat Jericho and Hager last week.

This match was set up on tonight’s show during a Matt Hardy promo. Hardy called out Jericho as the man who attacked him last week. Jericho came out and this led to Kassidy challenging him. We’ll see how this match goes.

Jericho recently said he wanted to make another young guy a star. I wouldn’t have predicted Isaiah Kassidy as the guy who was next on his list, but Jericho has an eye for talent.

Also announced was Ricky Starks and Darby Allin. Allin and Starks have been feuding for weeks now. This seems to be the next stage in the story for them.

The final segments for the show are going to be a returning Britt Baker and an appearance from Jon Moxley. This week’s Dynamite had to be revamped due to a positive test for Lance Archer. They are going to have to adjust now for next week too.
